ACTS is an NZQA and MITO- approved Category One Training Provider based in Avon City Ford Dealership in Christchurch. With over 25 years of experience delivering automotive training to schools across Canterbury, we have established a strong
reputation for offering high-quality courses and student-friendly resources. Our programs are designed to provide students with clear pathways to ensure they are well-prepared to enter the automotive industry with confidence.
We offer comprehensive automotive learning and assessment materials that can support any automotive training programs your school may offer. ACTS provides resources for Levels 2 and 3, with some unit standards contributing to the New Zealand Certificate in Light Automotive Engineering – Level 3.
ACTS is fully committed to supporting students in their pursuit of a career in the automotive industry.
Our 3-Day Intro block courses are designed for students to have an introduction to the automotive industry. They are intended for students who are interested in the automotive trade, or who want to gain some practical knowledge and experience. The entry level courses start with our 3-Day Vehicle Servicing Course and then advance on to our 3-Day Advanced Engine Concepts Block Course.
We also run a 4-Day block course during the school holidays for those students who cannot leave school during term time or want to do something over the holiday break.
